I completely agree with this list.
Probably the first one the most.

Today is Nicolaus Copernicus’ 540th birthday!
Nicolaus Copernicus was a Polish astronomer who used his naked eye to look at the planets, and came to the life changing conclusion that everything revolved around the sun, not the earth as it was believed.
Interestingly, in 2005 a skeleton believed to be Copernicus’ was found under floor tiles near one of the side altars in a 14th-century Roman Catholic cathedral in Poland. Three years later, forensic facial reconstruction of the skull and DNA matching with hairs taken from a book in Sweden that was owned by Copernicus confirmed that the bones were his.
Also check out the Google Doodle XD
So once again, Happy Birthday Copernicus!

January 2nd is National Science Fiction Day.
My favorite science fiction writers are H.G. Wells and Ray Bradbury.
Who are yours?

A Word from M.O.M.
The universe feels a little off right now.
As we race towards the holidays which should be a time of peace, reflection and joy we are being bombarded on all sides. There has been unspeakable sadness with a pain that reaches deep. And the stores are full and people shop as if that will make everything right.
Stop and take a moment to find some calm and peace.
We have a wonderful friend, Louis Landon, who is a gifted musician who creates music that reaches your soul.
Take a moment. Get a cup of tea, coffee, hot chocolate and listen to something that makes the chaos still.
If only for a short while.
Thank you Louis.

Sitting at Starbucks the other day with my Cafe Mocha, I went to go and get a wooden stirrer to get my whipped cream out of the bottom of my cup (yes I went for full calorie overload.) I picked one up and finished my drink. But whilst I was waiting for my mom to finish her drink, I started gnawing on it. Then I got bored and wanted to see how far it could bend (yeah, I went there
)
It didn’t bend far.
It snapped.
Snapping it made one of the ends EXTREMELY sharp and I proceeded to poke myself with it (a little uncoordinated that day(it was a Friday though.) Then I thought,
‘Hmmmmm, if vampires were real, I could use this to stake one.’ I said this too my mom and we both burst out laughing. Then I started thinking of different uses for a wooden stirrer from Starbucks (no, I didn’t come up with 101 uses for it.) This is what I got XD
ANDDDDDDDD
21. use as a book mark (un-used ones)
Yeah, they were silly uses, but some may come in useful one day. So if the apocalypse comes and you are bored, or it turns out the Dracula is real, and you are stuck at Starbucks, just think of the wooden stirrer, and the different uses for it. Who knew things at Starbucks could be so useful.
And yes, I did just talk about this.
I went there!
Share you ideas for uses of a wooden stirrer from Starbucks. Can’t wait to hear your creative ideas!

Happy Thanksgiving to all of my readers. May you enjoy an amazing turkey and keep warm. Spend time with your family and give thanks for things you have. XD
