Welcome to MyLibraryCardWoreOut!
I know that a lot of my readers are world-wide. A lot of my visitors are from the United States but I get some lovely visits from France, Australia, Israel and many others too. So where ever you are from, welcome to here and search and see if you can find what you are looking for. Just like a library, I try to keep my shelves up to date, but sometimes I don’t succeed. But I keep trying and usually once a week or at least every two weeks there is a book review but sometimes I do fun book related things. Also with the help of M.O.M (my own mother) we keep this blog running. Scroll down to read my latest posts. Enjoy!

“GUERRILLA knitters have struck again – this time leaving jubilee-inspired woollen corgis and the Queen under cover of darkness.”
-From Article
As this weekend is the Diamond Jubilee for the Queen of England the Guerrilla Knitters have done some serious knitting to celebrate. The people of a North Yorkshire town work up to find their front hall decorated with knitted figures and objects of red, white, and blue.
How fun. Click here to read the full article.
I would love to wake up and find my local town covered in knitted figures.
So who is going to be celebrating the Diamond Jubilee? I know that I will be.
“God Save the Queen!”
Read the review of Noah’s Knits by Fiona Gobel for more knitted fun.
The first friday of June is National Donut Day……aka tomorrow is National Donut Day. AHHHHHHH!!! YEAHHHHHHH!!!! DOONNNUUUTTTSSS!!!!
Yup, I love donuts.
So you had better get out there and buy those donuts.
And while you are at it, have a look at this awesome Donut book.

I know that it is Thursday but it is my last school day for the week so I am treating it like a Friday.
I found this amazing video which shows the Lyrid Meteor Show as captured from space.
This is extremely spectacular…wish I could have been up there to see it.
